Kaufman: Lakers in 5
On June 5, 2008, King Kaufman predicted that the LA Lakers would win the NBA finals in five games:
Just want to get this on record before Game 1: Lakers in five. I think they’re too athletic for the Celtics. Boston has the Big Three, of course, Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce and Ray Allen. But the Lakers have Kobe Bryant, Pau Gasol and Lamar Odom, a No Slouch Three.
On a similar note, Colin Cowherd (who I love to hate) said at 846 PST 6/16/08 that the Lakers would not win Game 6 nor would they win two in a row.
